2009 Lakeville North Juniors Pre-Registration

Lakeville North Juniors will field the following teams:

  • 1 or 2  - 12's  (4th-6th grade)

  • 1 - 13's  (7th grade and younger)

  • 1 - 14's  (8th grade and younger)

  • 1 - 15's  (9th grade and younger)

Approximately 9-11 girls will be selected per team.   There is one mandatory clinic which will be held Thurs. Oct. 30th at Lakeville North HS 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. for girls in grades 7 - 9.   On the first night of clinic, please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time to complete necessary information.

Monday Nov. 3rd Try-outs for 12's will be 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Lakeville North HS.

Monday Nov. 10th Try-outs for 13's and 14's will be 6:30-8:00 p.m. and tentatively Tuesday Nov. 11th 7:30-9:00 p.m. at Lakeville North HS South gym.

Friday Nov. 14th Try-outs for 15's will be 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Lakeville North HS.

The season begins with a few pre-season practices in November and December. Beginning January there will be 2 practices per week until the end of the season which is typically the end of April/beginning May.

Lakeville North Juniors plays in the Northern Lights Power League at the Midwest Volleyball Warehouse in Burnsville.  League games are played either Saturday or Sunday of alternating week-ends.  In addition, each team will compete in 2-3 tournaments.

Clinic & Try-out cost:  Pre-registered athletes $10.00.  Girls in grades 4-6 must be pre-registered by Monday Nov. 3rd  4:00 p.m.  Walk-ins/not pre-registered $25.00.  Payment must be made at the start of the try-out with either cash or check (made payable to Lakeville North Juniors).

  • The 2009 NCR USAV Membership Form must be filled out prior to the tryout.  Players will NOT be allowed to tryout without this form. Fill out the information at the top of the form and sign (four times) at the bottom of the form.

Lakeville North Juniors Costs:

Fees cover league registration, individual player registration with the NCRUSAV, power league fees, insurance, coaching salaries, equipment, facility rental fees, administrative costs (including website), tournament registration fees, facility scheduling fees, etc.  Players will be provided with a jersey that they will return at the end of the season.  Players need to provide their own volleyball shoes, kneepads, white socks, and black spandex shorts.

Costs:

12’s: $660.00 ($360.00 due at first practice, $300.00 due Feb. 1)

13’s: $740.00 ($390.00 due at first practice, $350.00 due Feb. 1)

14’s: $740.00 ($390.00 due at first practice, $350.00 due Feb. 1)

15’s: $850.00 ($450.00 due at first practice, $400.00 due Feb. 1)

First Team Practices will be in mid-late November
