2012 Lakeville North Juniors

Lakeville North Juniors to field the following teams in 2012:

  •  2  - 12's  (6th grade girls and younger)

  • 1 - 13's  (7th grade girls and younger)

  • 1 - 14's  (8th grade girls and younger)

  • 1 - 15's  (9th grade girls and younger, if enough players in the right positions are met)

9-11 girls will be selected per team.

Try-Out Information

  • 4th-6th grades (12 and under):  Complete

  • 7th grade (13 and under): Complete

  • 8th grade (14 and under):  complete

  • 9th grade (15 and under): Tues. Nov. 15th 6:30-8pm @LNHS (register by Oct. 28, 2011)

  • The 2012 NCR USAV Membership Form must be filled out prior to the tryout.  Players will NOT be allowed to tryout without this form. Fill out the information at the top of the form and sign (four times) at the bottom of the form.
  • Try-out cost:  Pre-registered athletes FREE if registered online.    Walk-ins/not pre-registered $20.00 at the door.  Payment must be made at the start of the try-out with either cash or check (made payable to Lakeville North Juniors).

Please arrive at try-outs at least 15 minutes early.  Bring the following:

  1. Completed NCR form (see above)
  2. Wear T-shirt, shorts, athletic shoes with laces, white socks, and kneepads
  3. Please put your last name and grade in school on the middle back of your T –shirt with masking tape i.e.  JOHNSON 7  means your last name is Johnson and you are in 7th grade

Program Information:

The season begins with a few pre-season practices in November and December. Beginning January there will be 2 practices per week until the end of the season which is typically the end of April/beginning May.

Lakeville North Juniors plays in the Northern Lights Power League at the Midwest Volleyball Warehouse in Burnsville.  League games are played either Saturday or Sunday of alternating week-ends.  In addition, each team will compete in 2-3 tournaments.

Mandatory Parent meeting Wed. Nov. 16th 6:30-7:30 room 248. One parent for each player who is selected for our teams MUST attend this pre-season meeting.

 * Pre-registration is preferred (see below).  Register by Oct. 28, 2011.  At this time all registrations will be closed.

Lakeville North Juniors Costs:

Fees cover league registration, individual player registration with the NCRUSAV, power league fees, insurance, coaching salaries, equipment, facility rental fees, administrative costs (including website), tournament registration fees, facility scheduling fees, etc.  Players will be provided with a jersey that they will return at the end of the season.  Players need to provide their own volleyball shoes, kneepads, white socks, and black spandex shorts.
