2011 Pre-Registration for Lakeville North fall traveling volleyball program

Lakeville North Juniors will field up to 2 teams that will play in the South Suburban Youth Volleyball League

  • 2 - 12's teams (4th-6th grade fall 2011)

The South Suburban Youth Volleyball League was formed to provide a competitive volleyball opportunity for girls ages 12 & under during the fall season (Sept - Oct. 30th)

Lakeville North Juniors will field approximately 9-11 girls per team. 

Try-outs (at Lakeville North High School):

  • Thursday Aug. 25th  6:00 - 7:30pm

  • Wednesday Aug. 31st  7:00 - 8:30pm   

No cost to try-out

Both try-outs strongly encouraged.  If this is a problem please contact Janis Goehner and Tracey Weaver as soon as possible (using "Contact Us" on the left).

 

Fall Traveling Volleyball Information

  • Matches (double headers) are Monday evenings approximately 6:00 - 8:30pm beginning in September.  Matches are played at various facilities South of the metro such as Lakeville North HS, Apple Valley HS, Farmington HS and Farmington Middle School.  The season runs September through October.  Teams usually entered in the league are Lakeville, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Rosemount, Lakeville South, Farmington and Prior Lake.

  • Practices are Thursday evenings for 1 hour and 30 minutes at schools in Lakeville such as Kenwood Trail MS and Eastview Elementary.

  • Girls entering grades 4 through 6 in the Lakeville North High School attendance area are eligible to try-out.  No prior volleyball experience required.

* Pre-registration is preferred.

* Cost is $175.00

  • The 2011 NCR USAV Membership Form must be filled out prior to the tryout.  Players will NOT be allowed to tryout without this form. Fill out the information at the top of the form and sign (four times) at the bottom of the form.  No payment is due at this time.
